Installing HiLetters Neon Sign

There are two ways how to install your HiLetters sign. When you receive your HiLetters package. Normally you don’t need to get anything else. Just look for a clean area to place your sign and you can install your HiLetters sign as a desktop neon sign. Another way to do it is using HiLette’s wall mount accessories. With this, you turn your Desktop Neon sign to a fixture on your wall.

Desktop Neon Sign

HiLetters is one of our favorite neon signs. You don’t need anything else besides what you have in the box to light it up. It’s super easy to use and fun too! It’s an upgrade to your usual DIY letter boards. Perfect for any business or as home decor.

What’s in the Box?

Everything you will be needing is inside the box. Select the letters you want to light up and get ready to set up your neon sign! You should see the following materials:

●   Selected magnetic letter lights

●   Magnetic bar

●   12V Power adapter

●   Black cord with plug: 1m (3ft)

Installing Your Desktop Neon Sign

Installing Hiletters is Easy as 1, 2, 3!

Step 1

Remove all materials from the box and select the letters you want to light up

Step 2

Place the letters in the gap into the magnetic ream. It will automatically connect and stay in place even when you put it upside down.

Step 3 

Connect all the wirings together on your magnetic ream, plug it in, and light it up!

Mount to Wall

Yes, you can even mount HiLetters on the wall! It’s a great way to show your message for many to see.

What You’ll Need

Get your neon sign and accessories and don’t forget to grab a few more things in your toolbox. 

●   Wall mount accessories (2)

●   Screws

●   drywall anchors

●   Hammer

●   Screwdriver

●   Driller with a ¼” (6mm) drill bit

●   Tape measure

●   Pencil  

Installing Your Desktop Neon Sign

You can put your HiLetters sign on the wall by simply following these eight easy instructions.

Step 1

Remove all materials from the box and select the letters you want to light up

Step 2

Place the letters in the gap into the magnetic ream. It will automatically connect and stay in place even when you put it upside down. Put it aside.

Step 3

Using a tape measure and a pencil, mark the lines where you want to mount your neon sign. Next, position the wall mount accessories on the wall, and using a pencil, mark the holes from your sign to determine the screw hole locations.

Step 4

Now simply drill the marked areas. Make sure that your driller is ready with a ¼” (6mm) drill bit. Do the same for both sides.

Step 5

Once you have your holes ready, take the drywall anchors and tap them in the wall using a hammer.

Step 6

Now align the holes of your and it’s time to screw in the nails into the drywall anchors.

Step 7

Now unscrew the cap on both ends of the magnetic bars and slide the wall mount in. Once in place, put back the cap and screw it in place.

Step 8

The last step, connect all the wirings together on your magnetic ream, plug it in, and light it up!
