WARM CUP OF COFFEE IN A CHILLY CITY
Golden Gecko Coffee by Jake Healy started because he wanted a good cup of coffee to warm him up in the cold weather of Canada. He used his coffee knowledge from Australia and began roasting his own beans. Later on, he sold his coffee at the farmer’s market in Toronto and found a community that loved it just as much as he did.
The coffee shop’s name was after “The Golden Gecko” award that Jake won while in Australia. This award recognizes leading practices and innovation in environmental management.
